If you have insurance coverage through your spouse and waive WECS coverage in writing, you qualify for Willoughby-Eastlake City School District's "waiver stipend." To receive the payments, employees must be eligible for and waive medical, dental, and vision coverage and complete the 2025-26 waiver stipend form.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the waiver stipend will be $2,000 annually. The bonus will be paid in monthly installments of $166.67 in the first pay period of each month. Employees must waive medical, dental, and vision coverage and complete the waiver stipend form to be eligible for payment.
There are no retroactive waiver payments.
The agreement is 100% electronic and will arrive from DocuSign. Your waiver stipend payments will begin in the first pay of the month following completion of the 2025-26 Waiver Stipend Agreement.
